Our Story
Welcome to Freedom Automotive of Lake Havasu!
Our journey began five decades ago stemming from the love of cars, racing and bringing old cars back to life.
We moved from Las Vegas to Morehead City, NC and purchased an automotive shop with the intention of updating it and finding the right management personnel to run it. With a little bit of business development, the business took off and we found ourselves working long hours and not having enough time to have fun.
So, after running ourselves ragged, we decided to sell the business and move back West deciding that Lake Havasu would be a great place to retire. After a year of retirement, we decided we were not ready to be completely retired so we set out again to find a business that we could get excited about and have fun with.
We looked at several businesses, and nothing really excited us. Then one morning in July of 2025 we came across a listing of an auto repair shop, Freedom Automotive of Havasu, and it piqued our interest. After talking and meeting with the owner we became even more excited about it. We knew this was the business we were searching for.
Cars are not just our passion, they are our way of life. We envisioned owning a shop that we could get excited about going to work and having fun working with customers and cars alike.
We purchased the business in August 2025 and have since renovated the facility to enhance your experience. Our mission is to provide fast, friendly, and reliable auto repair services to every customer who walks through our doors.
